Our favourite, nice basic hotel in Playa del Carmen with really helpful and very very helpful staff.

A safe, cable channels, and a mini-fridge-bar available in the triple room. Street view from the window was nice! The location particularly good and unbeatable close to both bus stations. And just off all the bars, restaurant and shops, and all the shops.

Beds were very uncomfortable.

We had an incredible stay for a vacation.

The place was clean with a lovely design and very attentive and helpful staff. It was in the super central location close to the ferry to Cozumel. There was Moti - Desayunos nearby to grab something to eat.

We stayed at the Gran Sahara for a few days while exploring the area. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the famous 5th Avenue and the old ado bus station. Our room on the ground floor was clean and comfortable, with a small terrace that faced the parking area, providing a sense of security. The air conditioning worked wonderfully in the hot weather, and the maid did a great job keeping the room tidy. Although there was no hairdryer in the room, we were able to borrow one from the reception without any hassle. Additionally, the basic breakfast offered in the restaurants across the road was a nice, complimentary touch.

Would recommend this hotel.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, and the room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the inner yard. The location was convenient, and the staff, including Camillo, Cora, Soco, and the manager.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with a buffet option or more variety.

Its location just a short stroll away from Disabled-friendly beach was marvellous. The hotel was set in a nice enough area. The room I booked was meant the curtains had to be kept closed and available with balcony and nice shower and 3 double beds.

Everything was simply perfect. Our quadruple room was outstanding and spotless. The place had a quiet atmosphere. The location seemed great right across the street from a park. And it was also short walk to Playa del Carmen where people party all night long and the city center and La Quinta and those restaurants.
